Paragliding is a activity that sounds new to us Filipinos. But early 1990's this activity was onced popular in Tagaytay. Sadly, due to the lack of interest of the people during that time this activity vanished.
Then 3 years ago it was once again introduced here in the Philippines and this year in Carmona, Cavite. It was organised by The Air Sport Adventures Philippines(ASAP) and with the Recreational Outdoor Exchange(R.O.X.).
They say that the tandem flight the the great way to experience the thrill of paragliding. Because, there is someone who is driving for you(passenger) all you need to do is ride and enjoy.:)
The paragliding flight cost for only P 3,500, the equipment and instructor's fee included. The flight time is at least 10 minutes with a certified pilot, but it varies depending on the weather conditions. the paragliding is only available in Amihan season (November-April).
